The Werner Hollbeck GmbH, based in Essen, specializes in the marketing of technically complex polymer raw materials. This includes products from the Japanese Kaneka Corporation, including Kaneka MS PolymerTM, the market-leading polymer technology for the processing industry with applications in the construction and automotive industries as well as general industrial applications. Over the past 15 years, we have also established in-house production of additive systems that synergistically support Kaneka’s polymer business (silane adhesion promoters, stabilizers, etc.). To support the business development of these exciting business areas, we are looking to strengthen our team.
Your responsibilities…
- Technical + commercial support for small businesses through to large chemical companies, supported by Kaneka
- Expansion and development of the business area for various raw material groups, primarily in German-speaking countries and Europe
- Support for the development and application engineering departments of our customers
- Interface between customers, Kaneka and other industry stakeholders
- Development of industry, application and market expertise
- Participation in international conferences and trade fairs, also as an exhibitor
Your profile…
- Completed degree in chemistry, technical chemistry, chemical engineering or a similar field
- Team player, combined with the ability to work independently and on one’s own responsibility
- Strong communication skills, confident, flexible, committed and willing to learn
- Fluent German and English required
- Willingness to travel for business within Europe and, if required, to Japan
