Based in Essen, the Werner Hollbeck GmbH is an owner-managed family business active in the chemical industry. Acting as a business development agency for the Japanese Kaneka Corporation and its European subsidiary in Belgium, our specialists have been marketing polymeric raw materials that require technical explanation for over 50 years. Depending on the product group, our area of responsibility spans from German-speaking markets to the whole of Europe.
Our product managers help existing and potential customers to develop and market their projects. Being chemists or chemical engineers, technically detailed discussions are our daily business, but commercial topics are also part of the area of responsibility, e.g. pricing in consultation with Kaneka.
In our designated territories, our company sees itself as the first point of contact for all matters relating to Kaneka’s products. We are supported by Kanekas Research & Technical Service and other functional teams. In this way, we are involved from the initial contact with customers through to the processing of regular order processes. Our backoffice/secretariat performs the daily miracles, while the product managers usually face more long-term challenges. Our target groups are primarily processing companies in the chemical and plastics industries. In addition, we also provide planners, developers, users and experts with background information. As a long-standing partner of Kaneka, we look for technical and strategic win-win concepts for all parties involved.
