Werner Hollbeck GmbH, based in Essen, specializes in the marketing of technically complex polymer raw materials. This has included products from the Japanese Kaneka Corporation for more than 50 years, one of the world’s leading producers of plastic additives for the processing industry. For the business development of the PVC division, we are looking for a new employee to strengthen our team.
Your responsibilities…
- Technical/commercial support for small businesses through to large chemical companies, supported by Kaneka
- Expansion of the plastic additives business for various raw material groups, primarily PVC and PMMA, in German-speaking countries
- Support for the development and application engineering departments of our customers
- Interface between customers, Kaneka and other business partners
- Development of industry, application and market expertise
- Participation in international conferences and trade fairs, also as an exhibitor
Your profile…
- Completed degree in a plastics-related field, e.g. plastics engineering or chemistry
- Team player, combined with the ability to work independently and on one’s own responsibility
- Strong communication skills, confident, flexible, committed and willing to learn
- Fluent German and English required
- Willingness to travel for business within German-speaking countries and to Kaneka in Belgium, and possibly Japan
