Werner Hollbeck GmbH, based in Essen, specializes in the marketing of technically complex chemical raw materials throughout Europe. For more than 50 years, we have been handling products from the Japanese Kaneka Corporation, one of the world’s leading producers of raw materials and additives for the processing industry. As an extension of this business area, we develop and produce our own customized additives that generate synergistic benefits for our customers. To strengthen this area, we are looking for a committed new team member interested in a diverse range of tasks between the laboratory and production.
Your responsibilities…
- Assisting the laboratory manager in the development of additives and formulations for adhesives, sealants and coatings
- Conducting laboratory-scale trials followed by evaluation
- Application-oriented testing of finished products
- Handling existing laboratory and testing equipment after being introduced to the corresponding equipment software
- Quality control
- Preparation and execution of production campaigns
Your profile…
- Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician, chemical process operator or CTA
- Interest in a dual role, mainly in the laboratory but also in production
- Motivated, flexible, committed, willing to learn and able to think beyond the immediate scope of work
- Team-oriented and tolerant
